Walking books

My first experience of walking in Andalucia came more than three decades back when I discovered the stunning trails of the Grazalema and Ronda mountains. Since then I’ve dedicated much of my professional life to researching and writing walking guides about this uniquely beautiful part of Spain.

My guides contain clear yet detailed route notes and maps, GPS references, along with recommendations for good places to stay and to eat as well as overviews of all the areas described.

The guides have been recommended in The Times, The Telegraph and The Observer as well as in The Rough Guide, The Footprint Guide and The Time Out guide to Andalucía.

The 32 graded routes range from 4 to 16km and explore the Natural Parks of Grazalema and La Sierra de las Nieves, the ‘Pueblos Blancos’ (White Villages) perched high in the mountains, and the Genal and Guadiaro river valleys.
